This month’s speaker will be Paul Erunse, Senior Vice President, Business Controls for Global Technology and Operations (GTO), MetLife Cary North Carolina.
Paul oversees business and technology risk and controls effectiveness within GTO, as well as vendor management risk and governance. He collaborates closely with various organizations including Technology, Infrastructure, Cyber & IT Security, Data & Analytics, Global Business Services, Business Resilience, and Service and Operations within Technology and Operations. He also maintains a strong partnership with Global Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure that Global Technology and Operations’ initiatives are in alignment with enterprise objectives and cater to the needs of MetLife customers.
In his previous role, Paul was instrumental in transforming MetLife’s HR function, managing a diverse portfolio that included operations, digital, vendor sourcing, process reengineering, and technology. His efforts were centered on enhancing service delivery and the employee experience for MetLife’s workforce.
Before his tenure at MetLife, which began in 2011, Paul held significant positions in both Information Technology and Human Resources. His expertise supported various functions such as HR, Finance, Investments, Sales, and Marketing at notable firms like AllianceBernstein (AB) and OppenheimerFunds, which is now part of Invesco.
