Misconceptions in Solar: Land-use and Development (Virtual) (NC Clean Energy Technology Center)

The NC Clean Energy Technology Center’s second “Misconceptions in Solar” webinar focuses on misconceptions relating to solar and land-use and development. Concerns about negative impacts on property values, what happens after a project is decommissioned, opportunity costs for future agricultural uses and other impacts on the local communities are just a few examples where misconceptions relating to solar installations arise. Speakers will offer their own examples of common misconceptions that they have encountered from various vantage points within the solar industry and how they go about providing factual information to their clients and the public.
