PCE Plastics Recycling Symposium 2025 (NCMEP)
The Path to Getting Plastics Out of the Waste Stream
Getting manufacturing partners, scientists, government officials and academicians together to discuss the transformation of plastic waste.
Plastics Recycling – From Collection to Reuse
On April 29-30, 2025, The Polymers Center in Charlotte is holding a conference on plastics sustainability, from collection to reclaimed pellet, focused on providing the latest technology to accomplish that goal. At the conference, we also will address the threat of micro/nano plastics and the evolving methods with which to identify them, then counter them.
This is a topic of concern nationally, and dealing with this issue is complex. The goal of this seminar is to get all stakeholders in the same room, to hash out the problems, and find potential solutions for plastics.
We will dive into:
- Sortation technology
- Mechanical and chemical recycling
- Environmental aspects
- Micro/nano plastics
- Economic and political aspects
- Latest in technology
The consequences of micro/nano plastics on land, ocean, and air, is just now beginning to be understood and does not seem to be on the radar of many leaders in the industry and government.
We invite you to be a participant in this very important conversation. $500 for both days. Contact Daeng Hawkins to learn more, dhawkins@polymers-center.org or 704.602.4100.
