The Plant Based Foods Institute (PBFI) and Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA) are partnering with North Carolina Biotechnology Center and North Carolina Future of Food Coalition (NC FFC) to host a half-day Summit on the 6th of December, 2023 at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.

As North Carolina continues to power food & beverage industries through research and supply chain growth, there is a growing demand to examine growth opportunities for domestic supply networks that can support the rapid growth of the plant-based food industry while centering innovation, nutrition and health. The Shaping the Future of Food: Putting Plants at the Center of the Plate Summit brings visibility to the work of North Carolina-based stakeholders working in plant based foods, alternative proteins and food systems transformation in the state.
