Downtown Cary Pub Crawl (Triangle Remote Workers & Digital Nomads)
Did you know that the town of Cary was named after Samuel Fenton Cary in the 1850s out of admiration for his staunch prohibitionist activism? So let’s come together to make Mr. Cary spin in his grave with a good ole fashioned pub crawl through the city that bears his name, where you can de-stress at the end of the week with fellow remote workers and digital nomads.
We’ll start at the Bark Bar (pictured above–look for Eric in a yellow shirt). It’s an outdoor bar in the middle of the gorgeous new Downtown Cary Park (it’s sheltered so no worries if there’s rain). We’ll hang out there for the first hour to hour-and-a-half or so, then head around the corner to Cotton House Craft brewers, followed by Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage, then finish off at Bond Brothers and/or Bull City Ciderworks. These places are all close together–total walk time from start to finish will be less than 15 minutes. If you’re arriving after 8pm, check the comments below–we’ll update each time we move on to a new venue, but the plan is to spend roughly an hour at each place, and stay out as long as people are up for it.
