Society of American Military Engineers CCP Networking Social and Golf Tournament
With more than $18 billion in design and construction work coming to the Marine Corps bases in North Carolina over the next 20 years, the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Coastal Carolina Post has partnered with the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) to host an Industry event to get the word out. This two-day event will provide your company with information and networking opportunities to engage in this incredible work opportunity in eastern North Carolina.
Representatives from the Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and the US Marine Corps (USMC) will brief industry on the Marine Corps Barracks Initiative (MCBI) and the Fleet Readiness Center Optimization & Modernization Program (FIOP) at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point. This informative session will lay out the plan for executing these large and challenging mission requirements, which includes renovations to existing and building new barracks, aircraft hangars, engine repair and test facilities, training facilities, civil infrastructure (utilities, roadwork, and wetland mitigation), components and manufacturing facilities, operations facilities, and quality of life facilities.
