2023 Nisbet Venture Fund Pitch Competition (The Hurt Hub@Davidson)
Join the Hurt Hub on April 19th as eleven Davidson College teams pitch their innovative, for-profit ventures for the chance at over $25,000 in prizes at the annual Nisbet Venture Fund pitch competition!
Established in 2014 through the generous support from Marian Nisbet and Chip Nisbet ’86, this annual competition invites Davidson students and recent alumni to participate in six weeks of mentorship and programming before delivering their pitches to a panel of judges and live audience in the C. Shaw Smith 900 Room in the Alvarez College Union.
This year’s competition includes two pitch brackets. Six teams will be competing on the Incubation Track for $2,500. Five teams will be competing on the Acceleration Track for a $25,000 investment and pro bono legal services from McIntosh Law firm. In addition to these prizes, we will announce the winner of the $5,000 People’s Choice Award (voting for the People’s Choice Award takes place online from April 10-14).
Thank you to our 2023 sponsors: Marian Nisbet and Chip Nisbet ’86 and McIntosh Law Firm.
When selecting your ticket, please choose whether you will be attending in-person or virtually. A link to watch the competition will be shared with registered guests closer to the date. Questions can be directed to hurthub@davidson.edu.
