You Landed the Interview–Now What?

You sent out your resumes, updated your LinkedIn profile, attended events to network, and now you received the phone call… You landed the interview! Now what? How do you stand out from the crowd? How do you set yourself apart from the other candidates interviewing for the same position?

In this keynote presentation Megan Simpson, business founder and fractional CMO, will share her personal hiring experiences and how to be a top candidate during the interview process. When looking for a job it is easy to forget that each hiring manager is searching for their unicorn. They need a specific set of skills to fit their role. They are just as pressed to fill that position as you are looking for a position. They are scanning resumes in between meetings and blocking off time in their day to schedule interviews. Their fingers are permanently crossed hoping they will succeed in their selection process. This person has a TON of work piling on their plate and is trying to continue to manage their team while hunting for the ideal candidate. Megan will motivate you to see the interview process from both sides of the table and tackle the conversation from a different vantage point. The position and skillset are the problems that need to be solved and you are there to help solve their problem.

You will learn:

Two ways to prep before the interview
How to get ready for battle in the parking lot
How to best word questions to make you stand out as an all-star candidate
